Full Form of NEET: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
NEET Full Form is National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. The Integrated Entrance Examination for MBBS and BDS enthusiasts in the Bachelor of Medicine Gateway was designed and launched in India in 2013. Common Gateway for All MBBS and BDS aspirants is the National Eligibility-Entrance Test for Bachelor or NEED-UG. Similarly, NEET – PG is the common entrance test for all postgraduate medical courses in India.
CBSE conducts NEET-UG and the syllabus for NEET-FG is equivalent to MBBS courses in India approved by the Medical Council of India or MCI. Although some reputed medical colleges like AIIMS have decided to pursue their entrance exams, most of the other medical institutions have approved NEET-UG including Banaras Hindu University and Armed Medical College.
This can save students the energy and stress of preparing for different medical entrance exams and also save the time and energy that parents spent preparing their children and applying for various medical entrance exams in India. NEED UG and PG entrance exams can be applied online only after completing Plus 2 and graduate medical courses respectively. This avoids a lot of application processing.
